IKF Midwest Speedway Tour
Points for the rain out at Allendorf International Raceway in Sibley Iowa will be 75 points plus the number of entries in the class.

The series points will still be the best 7 out of 8 races. You will need 7 races to qualify for the year end banquet and prizes.

Any one can attend the banquet but only those drivers that have completed 7 races will be eligible for the prizes.

The banquet will be held on Sunday, November 7th in Lincoln Nebraska. If you did not pick up a registration form for the banquet at the last race, contact Bill Hilger.

Passing of Long Time IKF Employee - Ms. Jan Gaspar
It is with great sorrow that the IKF learned of the passing of Jan Gaspar, a 30 year employee of the International Kart Federation. Ms. Gaspar passed away on Thursday, Septemer 9, 2004. She recently lived in San Dimas and was an administrator for the IKF when she retired in 2002.

Throughout her career with the IKF, Jan wore many different hats. At one time or another, she worked in areas such as membership, publicity, points, race coordination, Karter News, BOD meeting coordination, rulebook, track relations and more.

The IKF Board of Directors, Executive Director, Office Staff and members extend their condolences to Jan's family. Services will be held Tuesday, September 14th at 9am at the Oakdale Memorial Park, located at 1401 South Grand Avenue in Glendora CA. Condolences may be sent to Jan's family in care of her youngest daughter, Leigh Egge 1126 Hurleton Road Oroville CA 95966.

2004 IKF Directors Election Schedule Update
Election of the 2005 Directors will not be necessary due to the number of candidates nominated and their acceptance of the nominations. Election ballots will not be mailed.
