2004 IKF Grand National Duffy Winners Posted

IKF Duffy winners from the 2 Cycle Sprint, 4 Cycle Speedway and Road Race Grand Nationals can be found under the RESULTS link on this website.

We congratulate all the winners and offer a hearty “Well done”. Winning a Duffy requires preparation, skill, and sometimes, luck on the day of the race.

In addition to a Duffy, two racers at the 4 Cycle Speedway Grand National in Dubberly, LA dipped into the Briggs & Stratton OHV Challenge prize money. DANE WILLIAMS of Charlotte, NC, participating in the race a long way from home, and local racer KYLE TOWNS of Dubberly each received a trophy with one thousand one dollar bills, a superb bonus.

There remain six of the $1000 Briggs & Stratton OHV Challenge prizes available at the IKF 4 Cycle Sprint Grand National, hosted by the Portland Karting Association, in McMinnville, Oregon on August 11-14. Come and compete for a share of the loot!

Over the past few months, the IKF has partnered with Lakefront Technologies, Inc. to revamp the IKF web site.

"We felt that the experience that LFT could bring to our web site, both through their solid understanding of the karting industry and their ability to create professional web sites led to a great match," Swiggart of the IKF board said.

"It was our goal to make the new site easier for the guests to navigate by providing a cascading menu system, allowing users to reach their destination with only one click. We also wanted to integrate photos of the various types of karting offered through the IKF," said Chuck Tate of Lakefront Technologies.

DUFFYS AND DOLLARS - 8000 OF THEM!
IKF is excited to announce the participation of Briggs & Stratton in awards at both of our IKF 4 Cycle Grand National events through the -

2004 BRIGGS & STRATTON OHV NATIONAL CHALLENGE.

According to an announcement from Dave Klaus of Briggs & Stratton Motorsports, the winner of every IKF Grand National class using the new OHV (overhead valve) Animal and World Formula motors will receive $1000 from Briggs in addition to the coveted Duffy. Junior class drivers will receive the award in the form of a savings bond.

2004 BRIGGS & STRATTON OHV NATIONAL CHALLENGE

The first event is the 4 Cycle Speedway Grand Nationals at Bayou Cajun Raceway in Dubberly, LA on July 5-9, 2004. Two of the $1000 prizes will be awarded to the winners of Stock Animal Medium and Stock Animal Heavy.

The 4 Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals held August 11-14, 2004 at McMinnville Raceway in McMinnville, OR will host 6 classes eligible for the prizes: Junior I Animal Sportsman, Junior II Stock Animal, Animal Sportsman, Animal Super Sportsman, and World Formula.

IKF has been in the forefront of providing racing venues for this significant new family of racing specific motors. All age groups are accommodated in the IKF classes and classes are available offering different levels of preparation and tuning by the karter.

Winning karters with a Duffy in one hand and a fist full of CA$H in the other should provide dazzling photo opportunity smiles at the awards ceremonies.
